The Cuckoo is the first to announce it
Daylight saving time starts soon!

On March 26, 2023, the time jumps from 2 a.m. directly to 3 a.m.. During that night, the German Clock Museum will not be quiet at all: around 1,200 objects are on display, and around 80 clocks have to be set forward by hand so that they display the correct time. But how exactly does that work? "For daylight saving time, it's actually easy; we can advance the hand by one hour," says clock and watchmaker Matthias Beck about the annual ritual. He also knows his special cases: Electric and electronic clocks are reprogrammed or brought to the new time with fast forward. In any case, his after-work shift is assured.
